Registered NDIS Provider

The aim of positive behaviour support is to reduce and eliminate the use of restrictive practices. Our primary goal is to uphold the rights of our clients with disabilities by looking to support the person through evidence-informed, person-centred strategies reflected in our clients’ individual behaviour support plans.

Positive behaviour support is based on a functional assessment and is focused on positive behaviour and improved quality of life. It begins with person-centred planning, leads to an individualised service based on effective and ethical practice and produces outcomes that address the person’s wants and needs.

Our evidence-based practices draw from psychology and behaviour support, ensuring a comprehensive approach for NDIS participants. We prioritize moving towards least restrictive practices, fostering an environment that nurtures individual well-being through a collaborative and tailored approach. Our PBS team supports clients with complex needs and dual diagnosis, including sensory, psychosocial, intellectual and physical impairments.

Our client-centred, evidence-based framework can be used when a client is placing themselves or others at risk of harm. Our aim is to uncover the reason or function behind a behaviour, and using this provide strategies, skills and other ways to support the person with a disability and those in their network. Our team are highly trained in skills teaching, reducing restrictive practices, and supporting staff and loved ones.

Join us on a journey towards holistic, person-centered care, where our participants’ wellbeing, mental health and quality of life are our top priorities.
